This fund has been set up in memory of Baby Louis Albrecht. Baby Louis and his twin brother Max were born on 24 October 2009. Born 13 weeks early, Louis weighed 2lb 4oz and Max weighed 1lb 13oz. Despite being the smaller of the two boys, Max managed to breathe for himself without the need of a ventilator. Things were a little harder for Louis who had a punctured lung and struggled to breathe even with the aid of a ventilator. Sadly, two days later, Louis lost his battle to survive in the big outside world and he died peacefully in our arms. The sense of loss and sadness was overwhelming and we miss our beautiful little Louis every day. With our Angel Baby Louis watching over him, his twin brother Max has continued to grow and get sronger. Bliss is a charity that offers help and support to parents and families who have experienced the birth of babies born prematurely. Sometimes those babies survive the difficult journey of being born too soon and tragically, sometimes they don't. We would like to help raise money for Bliss in memory of our Baby Louis. With your donations to this fund we can help other families who have experienced such loss and we can also say thank you to Bliss for the work they have done which has contributed to saving the lives of babies like Max.
